A family moment in New Orleans

Valentine’s Day in New Orleans

Time flies like an arrow and Cupid is shooting a charmed arrow right at your heart.  What is the first thing you’ll think of after you feel Cupid’s arrow’s sting?  New Orleans.  Home is where the heart is.  New Orleans loves you.  How do you feel about Valentine’s Day in New Orleans?  It sounds pretty romantic, doesn’t it?

Next year, Valentine’s Day packs a double whammy.  Not only is it the most romantic weekend of the year, it is also Mardi Gras season in New Orleans.  There will be parades that weekend.  Zip-a-ding!  Valentine’s Day in New Orleans and Mardi Gras parades at the same time?!?!  Let me tell you where you can sign on…

Flowers in the 7th Ward
Just walking down a random street in our neighborhood, there is beauty every day!

La Belle Esplanade is a small artisanal hotel, you can call it a B&B if you want to.  We are located on a beautiful historic street everyone who lives in New Orleans knows and admires.  You are on the right website.  Check out our breakfast! If you want to visit New Orleans like you live here, home is where the heart is.  We’re here for you.

Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday next year.  Listen to me:  Make a reservation to stay at La Belle Esplanade on that Wednesday. Why?  You’ll find out when you’re here.  Don’t make any plans except for your Valentine’s Day dinner.  Make a reservation for that far in advance, the way you should make a reservation far in advance at La Belle Esplanade.  We only have five suites so we tend to fill up early.  As of this writing, you have your pick of what we have available.  That may change as we get closer to Valentine’s Day.  Now is the time to make a reservation.  Check in on Wednesday and check out Monday morning.  Trust me.  It’s gonna be totally worth it.

The sky is the only thing holding you down in New Orleans.

That weekend is going to be the first weekend with the big parades, the big floats that go down St. Charles Avenue.  This won’t be like the Mardi Gras you see on TV on Bourbon Street.  This will be a more family-oriented holiday, which Mardi Gras is for the locals, anyway.  Pack a double whammy into next years Valentine’s Day.  Good memories are made in New Orleans.  The best memories are made on Esplanade Avenue.

Tuesday, October 22, 2019:. Poke around our website.  Read our blog.  You can read this other blog, too, that La Belle Esplanade sponsors, to get into a deep New Orleans state of mind.  You can celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart anywhere.  If you celebrate Valentine’s Day in New Orleans, you’ll get a lot more than pregnant.  You’ll leave with good New Orleans memories that will last you a lifetime.  There is a reason that one of the top 100 middle names for children born in the U.S. over the decades is always “Orleans.”

La Belle Esplanade only has five suites so only five fortunate couples will be able to spend Valentine’s Day weekend with us.  Stay at the small New Orleans hotel that will respect your intelligence and share with you what it means to be really in love with New Orleans.  Visit New Orleans like you belong here.  You do belong here.
