New Orleans is a kaleidoscope of a city and you’ll never figure it all out in one trip but if you want to get a head start on getting your head wrapped around what it’s like to live in the authentic New Orleans and not just in the tourist trap parts, there is only one place to stay. Our small artisanal hotel is close to all the tourist must-sees but it is in a real New Orleans neighborhood where the city’s culture blossoms of its own accord.

We are not on Expedia, booking.com, hotels.com, etc. Neither are we listed on AirBnB or VRBO. La Belle Esplanade is a five-suite personalized hotel run by two New Orleans goodwill ambassadors who are looking forward to sharing our part of the authentic New Orleans with you.
You should visit the French Quarter and Bourbon Street and a cemetery. After that, there is a whole wide and wonderful city to explore out here where every day is a new adventure, not a tourist trap. That’s the part of New Orleans where we like to party. You should, too. We only have five suites so we tend to fill up early when there isn’t a pandemic. Plan ahead and we look forward to meeting you! Every authentic New Orleans morning should start with a local breakfast sourced from neighborhood shops. No scrambled eggs in chafing dishes here!
